Synopsis: King Ahab had several struggles with Ben-hadad, the king of Syria. Despite Ahab’s wickedness, God gave victory to Ahab. However, Ahab dealt foolishly with Ben-hadad and a prophet of God rebuked him. Ahab, influenced by his evil wife Jezebel, conspired to get Naboth’s vineyard. God saw their evil and promised retribution for their treachery.
