Estimated Date: 793 – 722 B.C.Synopsis: After much longsuffering, God finally decided to make an end of the northern tribes. After successive turbulent reigns among the kings of Israel, God brought up Assyria to punish them. Their land was made desolate and the population was resettled in other lands. The curse of the covenant in Deuteronomy 28:64 had come to pass.
