Synopsis: It is not always true that evil begets evil. Good king Hezekiah had a wicked son, Manasseh. Although he repented, Manasseh had a wicked son named Amon who had one of the best kings of Judah, Josiah. Josiah restored the worship that was taken away under Manasseh and Amon. He urged the people to repent and to turn to God. His reign was the last bright spot in the history of Judah
