Synopsis: God was displeased with the worship that was introduced by Jeroboam and he sent prophets to condemn him. Upon his return from Jeroboam, one of the prophets met his demise through his own disobedience. We also see the continuing slide of Israel and Judah away from God and the punishment for their wickedness.
