Estimated Date: 911-870B.C.Synopsis: After Abijah died, his son Asa reigned in his place. In contrast to his father, Asa was a good king at first. However, towards the latter part of his life he did not depend on the Lord and suffered greatly. While he was obedient to God, Asa put away idols and commanded people to seek the Lord. When he became faithless he made foolish decisions and became stubborn in his iniquity.
