Synopsis: As we observe the increase of the role of prophets in Israel and Judah, we see the interaction between Elisha and the people of the land. God shows his care for others through the work of Elijah. In this story we also see the concern that a godly woman has for Elijah’s welfare. The great miracles of Elijah are similar to the miracles we have seen with Moses and will see with Jesus.
