Scripture Text: Hosea
Estimated Date: 793 – 753 B.C.

Synopsis: Hosea was sent to the nations of Israel and Judah to urge them to return and be true to Him. Israel and Judah had not only been unfaithful to Him but had sold themselves to idols and wickedness. God compares their unfaithfulness to a harlot who is loved by a good husband, who forgives her past harlotries, but then returns to the degrading life from which he rescued her.
