Scripture Text: Zephaniah
Estimated Date: 640 - 609B.C.

Synopsis: Little is known of Zephaniah the prophet. He spoke against Judah and the nations around them. He rebuked Jerusalem for her wickedness and warned her of God’s punishment. The message of Zephaniah seems to fit in with the period before Josiah led the people in repentance. Like the other prophets, he gives the hope of the glory of spiritual Israel, the church.
