Some psalms point to the coming of the anointed deliver of Israel, the Messiah, who would rule the world. Jesus applied these psalms to Himself. Jesus did establish His kingdom, a spiritual kingdom that encompasses the world, and He will reign from heaven until He resurrects all men and conquers death.
